Our mission
All too often in the birthing space, decisions are made for the expectant family and not necessarily by the expectant family. This happens for number of reasons, but it sums to a lack of education related to the birthing process. The goal of our Registered Nurses and Childbirth Educators here at Blooming Lotus, is educate and empower each and every family we serve. We achieve this by facilitating informed decision-making from conception to birth and beyond. We want to ensure that our families fully understands their personal rights and choices related to their birth, their body and their baby. Each classes includes corresponding checklists, interactive exercises, videos, quizzes and a class completion certificate.

Individual birthing plan creation education session

The purpose of a a birth plan to explore your birthing choices and provide the risks and benefits of your unique choices. Because birthing can be very unpredictable, we utilize the B.R.A.I.N. method to not only help you evaluate your choices, but explore other possible interventions. This facilitates empowerment and decreases the chances of traumatic birthing outcomes greatly.

This course is ideal for expectant moms, first time breast-feeders or anyone looking to gain insight and support on their breastfeeding journey.

Congrats on your expanding family! Unfortunately our little ones do not come with instructions. Our newborn care and essentials class instructs on pics such as: newborn cord care, feeding, bathing/grooming, diapering, newborn health and safety, crying and comforting and so much more!
24/7 On-call RN support line

Put your mind at ease by having the 24/7 advice and support of a Registered Nurse at your fingertips if any issues should arise. We offer telephonic prenatal, postpartum and newborn support to offer clinical advice and guidance on whether a higher level of care is needed. Our support plans start at as little at 30.00 per month.
